SPI-CGIL, FNP-CISL, and UIL UILP express deep concern about the measures currently under discussion at the Regional Council of Piedmont sull'assestamento the regional budget.
The reduction of resources that will emerge from the maneuver is severe and certainly weigh on the maintenance of current benefits. In this framework, the impact on services to families and the elderly do not have many repercussions, encouraging forms of social distress and the questioning of the estate of social benefits for the elderly poor from the non self-sufficient. The cuts will put into question in suffering since the institutions will be less because of social transfers that today will serve to meet the needs the elderly population, citizens with chronic diseases, policies to support families.
To this was added the return of local health plans that acting on the staff reductions will inevitably lead to a lengthening of waiting lists in sharp contrast with statements made by President Cota.
Faced with this situation-SPI-FNP UILP demand that resources be found to contain the size of the announced reductions in social expenditure. Such funds are used to replenish the Regional Fund for the integrated management of interventions and social services (chapter 153 157) and should work against a policy of downsizing of services and evaluated immediately after the break working inzitive appropriate to assume a unit.
